Father Anthony Silvia

The role of a priest in the AJC is more like a spiritual coach and advocate, rather than a teacher. The spiritual journey is a personal one, but a priest can play a role in helping the seeker to notice blind spots and avoidances and to find resources and assistance and in simply cheering from the sidelines. Fr. Anthony is available for home and hospital visits, for confession, anointing, holy communion, weddings and for spiritual guidance.

To make an appointment with Fr. Anthony please email him at anthony.silvia@johannite.org. To help in the scheduling process you can see his calendar here.

Reverend Donald Donato

The Rev. Donald Donato was ordained to the Diaconate for the Apostolic Johannite Church in May 2009. A native of Boston, Rev. Donato has worked as an editor and advocate for human rights and social services for 20 years, beginning at the Council of Europe, and currently with Dignity International and Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services in the Boston area.

Rev. Donato leads a monthly discussion group on the fourth Saturday evenings of the month, which explores themes for personal reflection drawn from Judaic, Catholic, Hermetic, and Gnostic Scriptures. Rev. Donato works with ecumenical and interfaith organizations for the Church, as well as visiting those who are unable to take the Sacraments at St. Sarah’s.  To make an appointment, please send your request to donald.donato@johannite.org
